The internet age has gotten us really under a big magnifying glass. Everyone likes to know and check on other people and it really doesn´t matter if it is an enemy, friend or potential prospect….these days you are googled, checked on Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram and many more options you are presenting yourself and no I don´t mean the NSA. If you think of it from a natural behaviourial pattern of the human being, it is not that strange. People are curious from nature and communicating, reading and talking about other people is many centuries old. It creates the gossip magazines, TV-programs, the fights between wrong informed people and many coffee and tea stops….you never know what you miss. I can tell you one thing: YOU MISS NOTHING. My ultimate test was not following the news of my country for over a year and when I was back I truely missed nothing. Life goes on and it is up to you how you live your life. So that gets us to the voyeurism and yes internet is an excellent medium to check on someone, but if you do not do anything with it, stop looking. Do something useful with your life. If you check on someone send a compliment or greeting, use your time wisely it is valuable for your own life. Act and do something with your life, because only than you can make a difference. Do not be scared to get a rejection or difficult question or reaction back, it will bring you a lot further than being the voyeur. You can can keep you whole life looking, but acting will get you somewhere……
